About the Project
The primary sources of data are meterological data such as Automatic Weather Station (AWS) and Surface Station data from Indian Antarctic Stations. The Metadata and other details are available at Indian National Polar Data Center (NPDC): to visit NPDC portal

The data are arranged as below :-
- Surface station and Automatic Weather Station data such as Temperature, Air Pressure, Wind Speed, Wind Direction and Relative Humidity. Temperature are in degrees Celsius, Air Pressure are in hecto-Pascals, Wind Speed is in knots.
Note:
The Antarctica Meteorological Data Portal data set is continuously being revised as more observations are acquired, however as with any data set we expect this data portal to contain errors. The observations come from a variety of sources, each having its own probability of error.
